Cookie Policy
Last updated 15 August 2026
We use two kinds of cookie. The ones that make the site work, which are always on, and analytics cookies, which only ever load if you press Accept on the banner. You can say no and the site works exactly the same. We run no advertising cookies at all.
Strictly necessary, always on
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| fas_session | Local storage | Keeps you logged in to your account | When you log out |
| fas_intro_seen | Local storage | Remembers that you have seen the founders welcome message, so it does not show again | Until you clear your browser data |
These are classed as strictly necessary under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, which means they do not require consent. Neither is used to track you across other websites.
Analytics, only with your consent
These do not load at all unless you press Accept. They tell us which parts of the site people read and where the page confuses them, so we can fix it:
| Tool | What it does | More |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Counts visits, pages viewed and roughly where visitors come from. We turn on IP anonymisation and turn off Google advertising signals, so it is not used to build ad profiles. | Google privacy |
| Microsoft Clarity | Records heatmaps and anonymised session replays: where people click and scroll, and where they get stuck. Keystrokes in form fields are masked, so your email and password are never captured. | Microsoft privacy |
Changing your mind
Your choice is remembered in your browser. To change it, clear this site's storage in your browser settings and the banner will ask again on your next visit. Rejecting, or never answering, means the analytics tools are never loaded.
Other third parties
- Stripe: sets cookies during checkout for payment security and fraud prevention. These are necessary to take payment safely. See the Stripe cookie policy.
- Google Fonts: the site loads two typefaces from Google's font service, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
Following a link to X or Telegram takes you to their platforms, where their own cookie policies apply. We have no control over those.
Note: this policy is provided in good faith and should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before you rely on it commercially.
